To the family: I am very sorry for your loss. I worked with Joanne at Bell Atlantic before the merger with GTE, we had a lot of fun and when I heard of Joanne's passing, I was deeply sadened. I will always remember all of us recounting our strike duties and all the stories we shared and the humor Joanne would bring to her tales. Many Sundays Joanne and I would bump into each other at the office trying to catch up on our work. Once I transfered to TX I was so happy to bump into Joanne in a meeting she came down for. She will be missed by those of us who worked with her. May she rest in peace.

Jim,
I was a co-worker of Joanne's for a brief period in 1998/1999. She was a tremendous leader. I remember that her son lived in NYC and she so enjoyed visiting and spending time with him. I am so sorry for your loss and will remember Joanne fondly.

I worked with Joanne for six months at the beginning of 2000. She became ill during that time period. I changed jobs and did not keep in touch with her. Sorry to hear of your loss.
