Passed away September 15, 2002 in Spring Hill, FL. John graduated from Marquette University in 1945 and resided in Milwaukee, WI; Kensington, MD and Spring Hill, FL. He was with the federal government in Washington, DC from 1955 until his retirement in 1980. His federal appointments included the General Accounting Office, the Public Housing Administration and the Department of Commerce, where he served as Director of Auditing. He also served as a member of the Cost Accounting Standards Board and was the recipient of several outstanding service awards. Prior to joining the federal government, he worked for Pabst Brewing, Grede Foundries and Arthur Andersen in Milwaukee. He was a CPA and a member of the Wisconsin Institute of CPA's for over 50 years. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, four children, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
