John Francis Flanagan

John Francis Flanagan, 78, of Mechanicsville, MD, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center. He was born September 22, 1943, in Fairmont, WV, son of the late John Joseph Flanagan and Mary Jean Bradford Graham.

John worked as a Staking Engineer for SMECO (Southern Maryland Electric Company) for 38 years.

John is survived by his son John Michael Flanagan (Romy Muller); grandson Christopher Hauser Flanagan; two granddaughters, Ashley Meagan Flanagan, and Katelyn Elizabeth Flanagan; and his great granddaughter, Bella Rose Kleinert Flanagan.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his son, James Vincent Flanagan; brother Michael David Flanagan, and maternal grandparents, Francis A. and Jessie G. Bradford.

A graveside service will be held at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Grafton, WV, at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2022. Bartlett Funeral Home is honored to serve the Flanagan family. Online condolences can be sent to the Flanagan family at www.bartlettfuneralhomewv.com
