We are both sad to hear of Jack's passing and wished we could have been in Virgina or Rochester for his memorial service. We're happy we were able to have dinner and a great conversation with Jack & Jean this last January in Savannah, Ga. We have 40 years of memories to look back on.

I was so sad to hear of Jack's passing. When I had the pleasure of hosting benefit meetings for the Flight Department, Jack and his staff always made me feel welcome. After he retired, I spoke with Jack on occasion concerning benefit questions and I always enjoyed hearing about his life after Gannett. He was a wonderful man and he will be missed. My deepest condolences to the Gallagher family at this time of sorrow.

I just learned of Jack's death today and am deeply saddened. I will always remember Jack from my days as a golf professional at International C.C. as well as Belmont C.C. and even saw him as recently as a month ago or so at my new club, Lansdowne. I will always remember Jack's pleasant disposition and gentlemanly manner. My sincere condolences are extended to Jack's family and friends. I know he will be sorely missed.
