On Sunday, June 27, 2004, JOHN DAVIS HALTERMAN, SR., the beloved husband of the late Margaret M. Halterman. Loving father of John D. Jr. and William M. (Sandi) Halterman; grandfather of John D. III, Jessica L., Dawn N. and William M. Halterman, II. Also survived by sisters, Clarise and Elva and brothers, Harry and Lorain and a host of other relatives and friends. Friends may call at LEE FUNERAL HOME, INC., Branch Ave. and Coventry Way, Clinton, MD on Thursday, July 1, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held on Friday, July 2 at Brookfield United Methodist Church, Croom and Candy Hill Rd., Naylor, MD. 10 a.m., viewing with services to follow at 11 a.m. Interment Brookfield Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brookfield United Methodist Church, 12806 Croom Road, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772.

Mr. Halterman was the nicest man and the most caring person I knew. I really enjoyed all the years we had the barn dance and watching him dance with all the ladies in the barn. John you are going to missed by all. God Bless.
