I am so sorry that John passed. We had worked together for more than 30 years and I will miss him forever.

I met John in 1978 when he, John Ash, a girlfriend and I went to a fireman's dance in Lorton, VA. I spent the evening talking to John, but married John Ash. Over the years, I enjoyed getting to know John, Sherry and Kendra in particular. I remember John's easy-going nature and ready laugh. I am saddened to hear he had been ill for some time. He will be missed.

John and I worked together years ago when I was a consultant to Pepco, where John worked. After that project was over and even after his retirement, we kept up a correspondence about many things.
Most recently, I told him I was praying for him and his wife as he struggled, always as cheerily as he could muster, with his and her illnesses. When he stopped responding to e-mails from me, I started searching for obits and found this today.
I will miss John. He seemed to me to approach life with a great sense of humor, which is certainly needed these days.
I hope enjoys the afterlife. He deserves a good one.

I too met John at St. Anthony's HS. Went scuba diving in the early 70's with John and John Ash in the Florida Keys. Good bye my friend.

When I first came to PHI in 2011 John took the time to mentor and advise me and became a friend as well. He will be truly missed.

Healy Family, I am saddened to hear of the passing of one of my mentors and heroes. John took me under his wing at Pepco and provided wise counsel and encouragement. I will never forget the difference he made for me and I extend my sincerest condolences. Rest well, my friend.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Healy family. I met John at St. Anthony High School. John was so nice and so much fun. He was very close to Rick Grzeskiewicz-my husband. He passed away in 2014. I have many great memories of our loved ones from the past.

Dear Healy family, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with John at Pepco. I remember fondly his smile, his wit, his genuineness as a nice guy and true character. We were all made better just to know him. Much love and prayers for John and your family.
