Age 80 on January 27, 2014 of Nanjemoy, MD. Beloved husband of Frances Alberta Barger Jarrett; brother of Virginia Lee Jarrett; foster brother of David Terbush; step-father of Debbie Boyd and husband Thomas, Norma Ryan and husband Patrick, Bonnie Tyo and husband Robert, B. Bruce Barger and wife Bonnie; step-grandfather of Brian Barger, Allison Barger Eddy, Blair Boyd, Mark Boyd, Benjamin Hammer, Michael Hammer, Eric Hammer, Alex Tyo, Matthew Tyo, and Katherine Tyo. Close friends include Sedrick and Veronica Cobey, Sonny, Barbara and Jeff Perry, Mark Smith, David McKeown, George Tibbs, Samuel Linton and Dr. Ken Watkins. Mr. Jarrett is also survived by cousins, the Mutschler family of Germany. Visitation on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Ave., LaPlata, MD 20646 and on Saturday, February 1, 2014 from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church, Indian Head, MD 20640. Interment will be held at a later date on the family farm.
