John G. Jochem, IV of Bethesda, MD, son of the late William W.P. Jochem, formerly of Chatham, NJ and Edith Dishal, formerly of Upper Montclair, NJ, passed away Friday, April 30, 2004. He is survived by his life partner, Dianne Christian; his son, Christopher P. Jochem; his sister, Janet Jochem of Danbury, CT and his brother, Chris Jochem of West Caldwell, NJ.
John was a former Navy Program Manager of an operationally significant initiative and later a Senior Systems Engineer of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems working in advanced technology areas. During his lifetime John enjoyed the love of his family, the friendship of his peers, the respect of his professional colleagues, and the satisfaction of an accomplished and fulfilling career.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday May 14 at the Chevy Chase United Methodist Church, 7001 Connecticut Avenue, Chevy Chase, Maryland.
