He was the loving husband of Chrissie Markogiannakis; loving father of Lefkothea Fthenos, George Markogiannakis, Chris Markogiannakis, and Irini Athanasakis; brother of Kostas Markogiannakis, Maria Tsimbragos, Nikolas Markogiannakis and Zoumboulia Vrenzos. Also survived by nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at FAIRFAX MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 9902 Braddock Rd., Fairfax, VA on Thursday, March 25 from 7 until 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at St. Katherine's Greek Orthodox Church, 3149 Glen Carlyn Rd., Falls Church, VA on Friday, March 26 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Fairfax Memorial Park.
