Dear Family,
I noticed the name and reference to the Georgetown area. In the 1930's my mother worked for a Mr. & Mrs. Sloat in the Garden Tea Shoppe, Columbia Rd, NW. Perhaps the same family?
I am so sorry about your loss.Pardon me making a connection, but, I miss my mother and remember how much she loved working there.
