Joseph Melice Obituary
On June 15, 2003 at The Washington Hospital Center. "Joe" was a lifelong resident of Woodbridge, VA and proud owner of Melice's Automotive. He was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and friend. He adored his grandchildren and was a people person. He was the beloved husband of Kathy. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph and is also survived by his mother, Katherine; his sons, Joey, Adam and Scott, all of Woodbridge; sister, Patricia Rigsbee of Dale City, VA and three grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. at MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 3200 Golansky Blvd., Woodbridge, VA, where funeral services will be held on Friday, June 20 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow.

I am so sorry for your loss, Uncle Joe was a great mentor to me, giving me a job when I needed it, helping me get a car when I needed it (that car is still the best car I ever had). He was a special uncle and I really loved him. I am thinking of you and my cousins. I love you more cause I'm bigger.

I was at the garage a few weeks ago. Joe said there was something in my car that drove him nuts and always hit him in the head. He said come with me. Out we went to the car where he placed a paper clip on the sunviser. It will stay there always and I will remember the gentleman that put it there. My thought and prayers are with you all.

Joe was a customer of mine at my barber shop I use to cut his hair. I have known him for years. He was a very funny man and always ready to help you when you needed it.
