Josephine Moore Champion (Age 83)
On December 12, 2017, Josephine of Washington, DC departed earthly life and claimed her Heavenly Reward. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Samuel L. Champion, Jr. She is the mother of Tanya and Bryan Champion and Grandmother of Bryanna Champion, all of the Washington, DC metro area.Services will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017 at the Israel Metropolitan Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, 557 Randolph St. NW, Washington, DC 20011. Rev. Dr. Ricky D. Helton is the pastor. The Visitation Hour will begin at 10 a.m. followed by the services at 11 a.m. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories daughter, Tanya Champion; son, Bryan Champion; granddaughter, Bryanna Champion; sister, Priscilla Hayes (Nathaniel); two sisters-in-law, Audrey Reeves, and Lynda Robinson (Wilbert); and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.Services provided by JB Jenkins Funeral Home

Josephine was a loving, friendly, caring, Christian Lady and devoted Missionary. She will be missed by all those that knew her. I thank God for allowing her to touch our lives is so many special ways. To wish her family and friends comfort as you grievea healing strength as you believe that life goes on beyond this shore and all of us will meet once more. Remember the good times that you shared, and the life she lived, and she will be treasured in your heart always. Sending you deepest sympathy, prayers and warmest thoughts.

Bryan and Tanya,
