My Dad was an honorable, loyal, and loving man. Most of all, he was my DAD and I will never forget! His legacy lives on in my heart.

In Loving Memory of Joshua Thomas
To: Crystal, Opal, Juliet, and Jocelin
With Loving Memory and Heavy Heart...
I will never forget "Your Dad," (affectionately, called "Pop Thomas" later in life by me, with his permission and smiling agreement.)
Since, the day we met through Crystal in 1983, at Hampton Institute-University as Freshman band members and college roommate's, Mr. Thomas (called then), did not hesitate to embrace me as family, and the outreach he so voluntarily gave from the beginning with countless rides home from Hampton to Temple Hills, MD, (my hometown as my Mother worked countless hours and would travel alone to Hampton for me.)
I remember those car rides with Mr. Thomas to and from Hampton being such a Joyful family time with humble thankfulness. Then many times after, I would travel and stay at the Thomas family home with his daughters through many holidays, family occasions, and just visits for family time gatherings through many years beyond graduation...to actively know Mr. Thomas from age 18, and now 54, for me speaks volumes of the loving and inclusive family relationship; he shared with me and added to my life in meaningful layered life time experiences. To enjoying McDonald's on our Hampton travel to enjoying freshly perked coffee and delicious meals watching Howard Univ. TV channel later NPR. or some political T.V. show of world and Our community conversations of the day, witnessing his Sunday Church travels followed by often time viewing the NFL Redskin football games.
Your Daddy will remain in countless hearts beyond this day, so be encourage that his "Lamp Light" will always Shine!
I will never forget, as "Pop Thomas" voice of life will infinitely illuminate my Heart.
I say, may God forever Bless You and Thank you for always sharing "Your Daddy" and embracing me like family, too.
Love You All,
Jude
