JOYCE SIMMONS Obituary
Joyce E. Simmons (Age 66)
Of Falls Church, VA passed away at home on August 15, 2019. She is survived by her husband Craig Simmons; parents Jane and Howard Olmsted; brother Douglas Olmsted; sister-in-law Elaine Simmons and brother-in-law John Ausink and their daughter Kalkidan. Joyce's career was in ATM banking and worked for Suntrust and PenFed. Funeral service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Annandale, 7610 Newcastle Drive, Annandale, VA 22003 on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 10:30 a.m.

Well Joyce, I am outta there! I left PenFed in October 2023 and am living the good life on Lake Ray Hubbard in Texas. Another thing you taught me was retire sooner rather than later, because you don't know how much time you have left.

Joyce it's been 4 years since you joined the other angels in heaven. I have 1 foot on a banana peel and the other out the door at PenFed. They have changed so much! I am not able to meet their unrealistic expectations. I hope my next job has a manager like you who will take a chance on me!

So sad to hear about the passing of Joyce. I worked for her at PenFed and she was never at the loss of of sharing a funny story or her wealth of knowledge!
