JULIA MAE BRICE (Age 82)
On Monday, November 5, 2012 in Washington DC, Julia Brice passed away. Devoted mother of Carolyn Brice Clay, Renee Brice Henderson, and Cal Renard Brice. She is also survived by beloved friend, James Brown, two sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, four sisters, one brother, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends are invited to the viewing on Monday November 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Divine Love Baptist Church, 4304 Sheriff Road, NE, visitation and funeral service on Tuesday November 13, visitation at 10 a.m., service at 11 a.m. at Lincoln Park Methodist Church, 1301 North Carolina Avenue NE. Interment at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Funeral services provided by Snead Funeral Home.

Renee, Carolyn, and Renard, you have my deepest sympathy and prayers. I am so very sorry I was unable to attend the services. As you know your mom was just like a second mom to me and she was my mom's best friend. I will always remember her for her sweet, caring ways, her beauty and elegance. May God keep you and comfort you.

Ms. Brice , you were like a mom to me ,always encouraging,sharing wisdom and a warm smile. I realize that the angels are guiding you home now,my mom will be their waiting for her best friend. Peace and blessing to the family.
