I had the privilege of working with Kelly while we were at Lee Middle School. She was such an inspiring teacher and always fun to be around. We often shared stories about our families and just life in general. After all these years, I still smile when I think of teasing her about jumpstarting her day with a can of soda (you know which one). My your memories bring you comfort and peace. Blessings......

I was so sorry to hear of Kelly´s passing through the Rock Creek Forest grapevine. My daughter Kelsey and Michelle Szymczak were friends in elementary school and I remember how much Kelsey enjoyed spending time at the Szymczak household. Kelly was one of the moms that was always cheerful and dependable, and first to volunteer for school and Brownie Girl Scout activities. She was a strong presence in our school and neighborhood communities. I was happy for Matt and Kelly to be able to retire and move close to the beach, but am always a bit wistful when I drive by the Szymczak´s old house, remembering all the fun times the kids had there. Thank you Kelly for all the blessings you passed along to those of us lucky enough to be part of your community. Love to the Szymczak family. Kristin Kiser

My very deepest sympathies. I knew Kelly through my brother Eric - when they dated in high school, she was always so kind to me, "the little sister" thereof; she was to me someone I looked up to so much - the coolest, prettiest, and best cheerleader for BCC:) Im sending my best wishes to all - Im so very sorry to hear of this news; my thoughts are with you. Rest in peace, dear Kelly.

She always had such a wonderful smile and encouraging words whenever I saw and spoke with her. She was always calm and patient.
