Kenneth Dalton Obituary

Kenneth V. Dalton, 82, died on October 14, 2025 in Bethesda, Maryland. Ken graduated from Boston College in 1965 and thereupon worked for 40 years as an economist for the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), US Department of Labor in Washington, DC. He retired as the Associate Commissioner for the Office of Prices and Living Conditions at the BLS.

Ken is survived by his wife, Geraldine Sullivan Dalton, his daughter Marguerite Dalton Kosovsky and his son Thomas Sullivan Dalton, five grandchildren and a large extended family. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 26 at 3 to 5 p.m. followed by a funeral service on Monday, October 27 at 11 a.m., both to be held at Pumphrey Funeral Home, Bethesda, MD. Memorial donations may be made to So Others Might Eat (S.O.M.E.)
