Kenneth Herrold

herrold Dr. KENNETH HERROLD Dr. KENNETH HERROLD, professor emeritus at Teachers College, Columbia University, passed away on November 22, 2007 at age 94. Devoted husband of the late Elizabeth McMahan and father of Carolann, Edmund, William and John. An expert on group dynamics, he taught at Columbia for 30 years and advised industry and government, and was consultant to the US Children's Bureau 1950 White House Conference on Children and Youth. An Eagle Scout and WWII Veteran, he studied at Bucknell University, Yale University, University of Michigan, and Columbia University. He will be deeply missed by family and friends. A memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Troy, Pennsylvania, at 2 p.m. on December 15, 2007.
