KEVIN TYRONE COCKRELL (Age 43)
Of Washington, DC, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 20, 2014. He is survived by his loving parents, Shelia Preston and Grayling (Deborah) Cockrell; his wife, Adrinne Cockrell; children, André and Ciara Cockrell, Sha'Nay Moore and Darius Rose. Visitation, Saturday, July 26 from 10 a.m. until hour of service at 11 a.m. at Michigan Park Christian Church, 1600 Taylor Street, NE, Washington, DC 20017. Arrangements by McLAUGHLIN FUNERAL HOME.

You are truly missed, I know you saw that my Dear Daughter Tia joined you, my heart is so broken Sitting here reflecting when I mentioned to you I was unable to take that long drive to Bennett and you said I got you in which you drove me down there and we picked her up. I´m so Grateful and again you are truly missed.

7 years but it remains current to my heart. I will never for get your very words if I have to go through anything with anyone I rather go through it with you thank you like wise I said . I miss everything about you even your corny jokes continue to RIP (Rest In Paradise) until we meet again.

My deepest sympath to the Cockrell Family. Standing room only speaks in volumes. Kevin has touched the lives and hearts of many. I'll never forget his support when he took me to get my drivers license and I past the test! He smiled as if it meant more to him then to me. Kevin was a great person that will truly be missed by us all. Rest In eternal peace Kevin.

I swear I keep hearing your jokes as if you are by my side trying to get me to cheer up. You have a special place in the hearts of my entire family. We all love you and will miss you so very much.
