KYREE EFREM SIMMS (Sherd)
On Friday, March 24, 2011. Kyree is survived by his parents, Kecia Simms and Efrem Powell; sister, LaQueda Tate; devoted friend, Mikel Downs; and a host of relatives and friends. He was eagerly anticipating the birth of his daughter, Kyien Mekka Simms. Visitation will be on Monday, April 4, 2011 from 9 a.m. until time of service, 11 a.m. at Park Road Community Church, 1019 Park Road, N.W. Interment National Harmony Memorial Park. Arrangements by McGuire.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Kyree's mom & family. Kyree & I went to school together,4th,5th (twice) and 6th grade together. we also went to middle school together, as i knew him then,he was quiet but at the same time the life of the party, so funny & always had me laughing, In school, he was the reason i enjoyed going, i always wrote his name on his work & in 6th grade he was voted the most handsome boy in 6th grade & i was voted the most prettiest girl in Leckie school news paper. as years went by, we'd normally bump into eachother & talk on bus & thats what hurts me the most. I just wish he had the time to meet his daughter,because Lord knows she would have been a daddy's girl. and to say to Ms.Simms both of your boys are with you! ~always in my prayers...
