Laura Vault Obituary

Of Gaithersburg, Maryland, passed away on November 10, 2025. Born Laura Geneva Solomon in Savannah, GA, to the late Henry and Lucy (née Gadsden) Solomon. Beloved wife of the Late William L. Vault; devoted mother of Brooks Vault (Cheryl) and Robert Vault (Chanda); and grandmother of Solomon, Nathaniel, Anthony, Jonathan, and William. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive her. Services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Holy Comforter Episcopal Church, 701 Oglethorpe St., NW, Washington, DC. The visitation will begin at 10 a.m. The service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Inurnment will be at the Fort Lincoln Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation (www.komen.org). Arrangements by McGuire.
