Laureano Peri

Laureano Peri, affectionately known as Larry, passed away on January 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving and devoted family. Larry led an adventurous life, from his beginnings in Havana, Cuba to starting a whole new life in the United States in 1960 with his cherished wife Marta (1938-2016) and three daughters. He had a successful 40-year private sector career with many international postings which afforded him and his family the opportunity to explore the world, and for Larry to play his beloved golf in some of the best courses.

Larry was known for his iron will and dry wit and was a man of staunch faith and family. He is survived by his three daughters; Marta B. Peri of Fairfax, VA, Luly Peri Samuels of Boston, MA, and Anna Osmond of Houston, TX. Larry was also blessed with eight grandchildren, Christina Pastor Peri, Gabriella Rosanova, Michael Samuels, Nicholas Samuels, William Samuels, Jacob Weiner, Olivia Weiner, and Simon Weiner. Late in life he was doubly blessed with the arrival of his great grandchildren; Lucas Ramos Pastor, Isabelle Rosanova, Nico Rosanova and Adeline Weiner.

A private family mass will be held to honor his life.
