LENORE SIROTA WEINBERG, LCSW-C
Lenore Sirota Weinberg, LCSW-C, 79, died October 16, 2018. She was born August 9, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA. She attended Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, was graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in English from UCLA in 1961, and with a Master's Degree in Social Work from Catholic University in Washington, DC, in 1980. A resident of Bethesda, MD and Washington, DC since 1971, Mrs. Weinberg had a distinguished career in social work. She was employed at a variety of agencies, schools, and in her private psychotherapy practice. She was married to the late Dr. Norris Weinberg for 25 years, and the late Dr. Ronald Deitch for 27 years. Mrs. Weinberg is survived by her daughter, Anne N. Weinberg (Rob Goldsteen), son Jonathan S. Weinberg, and step-son Lewis H. Deitch (Leslie), as well as by her sister Barbara Sirota (Alan Weinstein). Other survivors include her beloved grandchildren Britt-Marie, Noah, Elizabeth, and Alexandra, step-grandchildren Matthew and Michael, and numerous other relatives and friends. Services and interment will be private.

We are so saddened to learn of Lenore's passing. We have been honored to become acquainted and friends with both her and Ronald since May 2017.
