LEON T. PARRISH SR.
Passed away peacefully, on Thursday, March 3, 2022, in Fort Washington, MD. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 18 and 19, 2022. The wake will be held at KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD 20745 from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 18, 2022. The funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church of Alexandria, 2932 King St., Alexandria, VA 22302 on Saturday, March 19, 2022, with the viewing from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. His final resting place will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. What a Wonderful Blessing to have a great Uncle. He has always been someone to look up to and he always gave a good lesson about helping yourself. I was fortunate to have grown up with uncle Leon and was a first hand witness to his kindness. I will surely miss him, but know he is with the Lord and in good hands. Many Blessings and much love to my aunt Mary, Rocky and Tina and my family.
