LEON E. RICKS
On Sunday, June 3, 2007 at Providence Hospital. Beloved husband of Alma Ricks. He also leaves nine step-children and a host of other relatives. Family will received friends on Friday, June 8, 2007 at 10 a.m. until time of funeral 11 a.m. at Vermont Avenue Baptist Church, 1630 Vermont Ave., NW. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery. Services by BK HENRY FUNERAL CHAPEL.

To the Ricks Family:
Family is so important and I thank God for allowing me to be a part of this family. Uncle Leon was such a kind and gentle man. Our family has truly lost a "gem". The good thing is that we have wonderful memories of his life and accomplishments. Uncle Leon, you will really be missed but your legacy continues.
