Toni and family:
I was unable to attend Lenny's wake or funeral but wanted you to know you're in my thoughts and prayers. You and Lenny were a wonderful couple. I know you will miss him dearly. Remember the good times, think of him sometimes, but keep your thoughts in the land of the living. Trust in the Lord. He is a comforter and will help you through your loss and grief. God bless!

To the Napper & Taylor family;

Weeping may endureth for the night, but joy comes in the morning. Lenny has made his transition into the heavenly kingdom along with his brother. He is now walking on "Hallelujah Boulevard". Just keep the fond memories that are so dear to your heart, knowing that God is always and forever will be in control. He needed another Angel to work in the garden of paradise Lenny and Buddy were the chosing ones. Keep holding unto God's unchanging hands and we too can make the promise land. With God's blessings continue on to do the good in life they would have wanted you to do, for we shall all behold him face to face.

With love from the Ward/Bowser family.

Mama Charlene, Toni, and Family: There are no words to express my sadness. We must find our comfort in the Lord. He is the only one who can console us, heal us, save us, and so much more. All power is truly in the hands of the Lord! Lenny was a part of my family too and he will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to you and your family. I'm sure he is now with his grandfather, brother, and my dad. His joy and laughter will brighten up Heaven. If you need anything, I am only a phone call away. God Bless Each and Every One. Let us pray their strength and comfort, that they may find rest in the Master's arms.

To the Napper Family,

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.(Matt 5:4). You have our deepest sympathy during your time of bereavement. When nights become lonely, just take time to remember what a wonderful husband, father, son, uncle, and friend he was to each and every person. Lenny will truly be missed.

If I knew it would be the last time
that I'd see you fall asleep, I would tuck you in more tightly and pray, The Lord, your soul to keep.

If I knew it would be the last time
that I see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss and call you back for one more.

If I knew it would be the last time
I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise, I would video tape each action and word, so I could play them back day after day.

If I knew it would be the last time
I could spare an extra minute or two to stop and say "I love you,"
instead of assuming you KNOW I do.

If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day,
I'd be sure it was your best, before it slipped away.

For surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight, and we
always get a second chance to make everything right.

There will always be another day to say "I love you" And certainly there's another chance to ask
"Anything I can do?"

But just in case I might be wrong, and today is all I get, I'd like to say how much I love you and I hope we never forget, tomorrow is not promised.

Lenny and Erich have always been in the book of my "favorite" cousins! Even though it's been a few years since I have seen Lenny, he will always be embedded deep in my heart. When we worked in Crystal City, we always made each other laugh. And that laughter is what I will always treasure. Toni, my prayers and thoughts are with you and the children.

To my friend family, I want to thank you all for allowing Lenny to be friend me and my family. From day one of meeting Lenny I could see that he was a person that would be a friend for life. When I first came to Northern VA to work I worked overtime and Lenny and Toni would stop by my office to take me to my uncle house. That was so kind of them and I truly appreicated that. Lenny was a person you could talk to about anything. He was a great listener allowing to to vent and not shooting you down to be little you thinking that someone was better than you. But he would keep it real and he was a friend to all. He would say baby don't worrier about people and what they say remember girl they talked about Jesus and he was perfect. Girl just be you. My nickname for Lenny was (Miss Hard) because I had a wall up and won't allow noone to enter my space. So my friend Lenny would truly be missed. Toni my prayer are for you and your family. Be strong my sister and together all of us will get thur this with the help of God.
Your friend,
Thedy Marshall
