LEONARD ANTHONY SCHULTZ February 14, 1965 - June 24, 2017
Leonard Schultz, 52 died from a tragic accident on June 24, 2017.Lenny was an amazing son to Idith and the late Edward Schultz lll. A loving father to Benjamin and Holly Schultz. Beloved husband to Charissa and her beautiful daughters Addisan, Roberta and Michala. Exceptional brother to Edward and Marybeth, Christine and Roger. A dedicated Uncle to Albert, Gabrielle, Jaqueline, Julianne, Katina, Marissa and Roger lll (Bubba).Visitation will be held at Vienna Presbyterian Church, 124 Park St., NE Vienna, VA 22180 on Friday, June 30, 2017 between the hours of 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.A funeral service will be held at Vienna Presbyterian Church on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 10 a.m. with reception to immediately follow. Interment will be private.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to a scholarship fund being created in Lenny's name. The family of Lenny Schultz wishes to thank everyone for their outpour of support and love during this horrific time. Lenny, you touched so many lives while you were here. You helped raise little boys into young men, and young men into adults! I cherishs all the memories I made with the boys playing and you as our coach. I'm glad I got talk to you again a few years ago. I know you're in a better place! Your legacy will live on through all the lives you have touched! We will miss you coach, until we meet again!

God said it's better to make a name for yourself than anything and Leonard did just that. Everybody loved Leonard because of the kind of person he was. May the God of comfort be with his family, friend and all who loved and benefited from him. God love you.

Lenny will always be a hero to me. He taught me how to play football when I was a kid and helped me to learn how to lift weights. He had a positive impact on everyone he came in contact with and really cared about others. He is the reason I was able to play football in college and get a degree. I owe my life to him. He was always unselfish and worked hard for the kids. He will be missed. Thank you for everything Coach Schultz!

In Lenny, we lost one of the kindest people our family have had the honor of knowing. He was such an inspiration to all his students in the classroom and lead by example on any athletic arena he was coaching in. He truly put others before himself and always had a kind word that lifted your spirits. He is now with our heavenly Father, "his Coach" in heaven. God Bless you Lenny and sending hugs to all of the Schultz Family.

It is with a heavy heart that I send my thoughts and prayers to Mrs. Schultz and the entire family. I met Lenny back in grammar school in Hazlet back in the pop warner days. My family and I have always adored Lenny and have and will always hold a special place in our hearts for him. This is such a tragic loss. Rest in peace Lenny.

I had the good fortune of working with Mr. Schultz and can say he was a fabulous teacher and I learned many things about how to become a better teacher. He will be missed by many teachers and students.
