LILLY DHU WALTERS  
On January 7, 2014, LILLY DHU WALTERS, age 94, died peacefully near her birthplace of Milton, FL surrounded by her family. Lilly was a graduate of George Washington University, beginning her career during World War II as an accountant for the federal government and later working in private. business. She served as treasurer of a local Cotillion Chapter and her door was always open to family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Arthur L. Walters; children, Arthur, Jr., Sherry and Mark; eight grandchilldren, four great-grandchildren and brothers, Kenneth and Clifton Cobb. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 25 from 1 to 3 p.m. at A La Luvia Restaurant in Alexandria, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or Nature Conservancy.
