Moe & Marie Grimes

We all know her as Dudy. My family moved from Pa. Ave S.E. to I street in early 1951 and the first family we meet and instantly became friends with were the Stills. There were 10 children then, we were a family of four, three grils and one boy. It was not long before everyone thought that the Grimes family and the Still's were related. When my sister Gloria married John I was asked how could that be aren't you all cousins. We were like family all of us and have remained that way ever since. Prior to our losing Dudy she lost six of her siblings, two sisters and four brothers, Maxine, Betty, Gordon, Tom, Robert, Jimmy and her husband Al. As long as we have known this beautiful little girl she was always the same, just a beautiful loving giving person, always. She loves and adores her two sons and her grandchildren. She will be missed so very much by so many, the days sunshine will not be qiute as bright now, but we know that she is well now and resting in GODs arms. We will miss her so very much, until we meet again. Although we can no longer hold you in our arms we will forever hold you in our hearts. Love you Dudy

Linda was a longtime hairdresser and dear friend to my mother, Julie. Linda epitomized thoughtfulness, care, humor, and kindness. She came to my Mother's apartment when she could no longer come to the shop. Linda has been an angel to my Mom, and for that, I will always hold a very special place in my heart for her.. Rest in eternal peace, Linda, and thank you for all you did to care for my Mom. Mary Zimmer (Ellicott City, MD)

Could not say it any better than Louis! Linda indeed was made of class and kindness. She was always one to go out of her way, literally and figuratively, for people. She will be greatly missed!! My regret is not getting to know her better sooner.

I worked with Linda for 18 years and I can tell you she was a great lady. She epitomized class, strength, courage and and kindness. During her years of health challenges she never indulged in self pity or let it get her down. Truly an inspiration to many!!
I'm sure I share with others that she was a VERYSPECIAL lady and will be missed!!!
