I can not express how sorry I am for the loss of such a beautiful person. I met Lisa while attending Glendale Baptist Church. We sat next to each other in rehearsals. I have never met someone with such a sweet, loving spirit. Our friendship went beyond the walls of the church and developed into something I began to really appreciate. She was a true friend. When I was going through, she was there for me. When I packed up and left MD without even a word to her, she found me here in little ole Massillon, OH. I'm glad she found me when she did. I will miss her encouraging words to me and mine to her. God bless and keep Lindsay and the family.

My deepest sympathy to the Postell family. I am Lisa's cousin Nichole. My grandmother is Maybelle Postell. I never got a chance to meet Lisa, but I heard a few things about her. We actually belonged to the same church (Glendale Baptist Church)and didn't know it. My aunt Gail Williams and cousin Annette Payne worked with her at NIH. I'm sorry I never got the opportunity to meet her. God Bless the family.

Thank you to everyone that has submitted an entry. They are truly a comfort to me and my family and we love each of you for your prayers and memories of Lisa.

To my sister: Your were/are my best friend, my biggest fan, my shadow, my hero. I will always love you and will always miss you. I will always talk to you and will look for you where ever I go and in all that I do. I had no idea that you would be the first to go. I made all my plans, knowing that I would be survived by you. Thank you for the gift of Lindsay. What a wonderful gift to leave behind. I see your smile on her face and that is truly when I know that you are still here. I love you and live holding onto the fact that one day I will see you again. I miss you, Lil Sis!!! Life just won't be the same but we'll do the best we can. Quin.

Dear Postell Family,

My heart and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. I met Lisa @ the Pearl Smith Youth Center during our elementary school years and through my brother, Chuck, our paths recently crossed again. Although more than 20 years had passed, she shared Christmas 2001 with our family and it was as if we had never lost touch. As someone who has lost two siblings at very young ages, I know the agonizing pain and hurt you must be feeling. Please know that GOD WILL SEE YOU THROUGH and that with time he will help you find a way to cope with this unexpected and sad loss. Lisa was a genuine inspiration to me because she yearned so deeply to remain in accordance with GOD and to fulfill the PURPOSE he intended for her life. I share that same desire. GOD has now given Lisa her wings for her purpose here on earth has been served. She was a beautiful woman - - inside and out and through her, GOD touched many lives. For these reasons, you all should feel proud. Although it may appear to be infinitely difficult to make sense of what has happened, lift your heads up high, give glory to GOD, and thank the good LORD for the time he allowed us to have with Lisa and together, let's celebrate the beauty of her life. She will forever hold a special place in all of our hearts for she was truly someone special. If any of you ever need a shoulder to lean on, I am here as someone who knows what you are going through. God bless you all and never forget that you are not alone. God bless.

Sincerely,

Marjorie A. Black (Twiggy)

My condolence to the family.

Christ did not say that life would always treat us fair nor did He say that life would always be good to us, but He did say "I will not leave you...." Know that God is with you through it all. He will take care of you and He will work it out.
