Lisa Renee Ransom
In loving memory of a devoted daughter, a loyal friend, and an advocate for justice, we are saddened to announce the death of Lisa Renee Ransom on January 19, 2023, following a brief illness. Lisa was 61 years old and resided in Bowie Maryland. She is survived by her mother Brenda Stevenson, an uncle, Alfred Hammond, several cousins, and numerous friends all of whom deeply loved her. Services are scheduled for January 27, 2023 at the 19th Street Baptist Church, 4606 16th St. NW, Washington, DC 20011 with a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. directly followed by a celebration of her life. A private family interment is scheduled for January 28, at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, Maryland. Please view and sign family guestbook at

I am so very saddened to hear the passing of Ms Lisa Ransom. Ms Lisa has always been such a Nice and Easy person to talk to. She was so full of energy and loved politics. Whenever she came into our office she was always smiling and ready to conquer her day. It was such a pleasure to see her. She will be missed. My deepest and Sincere condolences to the Family. My prayers are with you all. Rest in Peace Ms Lisa.
