LLOYD LINWOOD ELDER, SR.
On Thursday, December 9, 2010, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Audrey C. Elder; father of Charles F. Crampton (Pat), Gladys M. Wood, Lloyd L. Elder, Jr., Mary P. Elder, and Anita J. Elder; brother of Madeline Heflin (Gene), and Alton Elder (Patsy). Also survived by five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He also leaves his faithful dog, Sammy. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, December 14, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Historic Church, 9700 Rosensteel Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, on Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow.
