Lorene Haggins Obituary
A native of Winona, West Virginia, and since 1945, Mrs. Haggins was a resident of Washington, DC. She was a faithful member of the Antioch Baptist Church where she served on several auxiliaries including the bowling team.
Mrs. Haggins will lie in state on Monday June 16, 2025, from 10 a.m. until celebration of life service 11 a.m., at the Antioch Baptist Church, 1105 50th Street NE, Washington, DC 20019. Entombment at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church. Services entrusted to the Stewart Funeral Home.

To the Families of Haggins, Owen´s, Wheats,
I send to all of you my Deepest condolences and sympathy for the horrific loss of your Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, Aunt Great Aunt, Friend,
It was my great pleasure to have the privilege of spending time with your wonderful Mother and Father, Phyllis you are a tremendous human being and I know how your Mother & Daddy, loved all of there children, it was great pleasure to spend time around the Dining Room Table with your beloved Daddy and help him polish the family silver one Christmas Eve, they were such A special couple and so proud of the home he built for your family, I love each of be of you some I have some I may not have had the pleasure of knowing, but one thing true, as long as Phyllis and I have breath in our bodies the warm and loving friendship I share with Phyllis is open and welcoming to one and all, I will continue saying prayers to honor your loved ones as well.
