Lottie Shankman

Lottie Shankman passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025 at the Vinson Hall Arleigh Burke skilled nursing facility in Mclean Virginia at the age of 100. Prior to moving to Virginia, Lottie was a long-time resident of Montgomery County, MD and lived for many years in their home at Leisure World in Silver Spring. Lottie was predeceased by her beloved husband Seymore and son Jack. She is survived by her son Gary (Lisa); daughter-in-law Teresa; grandchildren Sarah (Riley) Swinehart, Laura (Britt) Evans, Jacob Shankman and Sam Shankman; and great-grandchildren Allyson and Parker Swinehart and Bobby and Brooke Evans. A graveside funeral service will be held at Judean Memorial Gardens at 16225 Batchellors Forest Rd., Olney, MD on Tuesday, December 16 at 12 noon. Contributions may be made to your local food bank.
