On July 28, 2016, of heart failure. He was 24. He is survived by his mother, Georgiana Warner of Washington, DC; his father, Joey Kaempfer of McLean, VA and London, England; and his sister, Annie Kaempfer of Brooklyn, NY. He is also survived by his cousins, Diana Nash of Philadelphia, PA, Jamie Nash of Charleston, SC, William Nash of Washington, DC, William Brown and Jessie Brown of Boston, MA, Olivia Brown and Alexandra Brown of Cabin John, MD; and his many aunts and uncles. He graduated from the Field School and the College of Charleston. He will always be remembered for his generosity of spirit, his passion for life, his love of family, his loyalty to his many friends, his support for the Washington Redskins and Chelsea FC, his irreverence, and his kindness. Bye, bye Lukey - - our true love. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 13 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 36th Street NW (between O and N Streets), Washington DC 20007, followed by a burial at Oak Hill Cemetery, 3001 R Street, NW, Washington DC 20007.
