LUCILLE McBRIDE Obituary
Lucille E. McBride (Age 101)
Died peacefully in her sleep Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at her home in Arlington. Born in Providencia, Colombia in 1916 Mrs. McBride was the eldest of eleven children. In 1955 she moved to Arlington, she was a longtime member of Calloway United Methodist church, where she met her late husband, Goodsell McBride. She is survived by her daughter, Cecelia Rodriguez (Jairo), her brother, Noel O'Neil, many nieces and nephews, and her extended family, Kay Cooper, Susan Hord, Ann Hord, Alice de Michaelis, and Eldridge Hord III. Arrangements are being handled by the Omega Society. A memorial service will be held at a later date and she will be interred at the O'Neil family cemetery in San Andres Colombia. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations made in her name to Virginia Hospital Center or the American Cancer Society.
