On a beautiful winter's day of cancer and Parkinson's disease in Leesburg, VA on January 13, 2002. His valiant spirit clung to life, but his body could not. Born June 5, 1930; raised in Culver, IN. Member Plymouth Kilwinning Masonic Lodge. Resident of Falls Church, VA from 1962-1985. Resident of Ocean Isle Beach, NC from 1985-2000. Retired in 1985 from 30 plus years at AT&T. He lost his wife, Peggy Crum Morris, of 36 years to cancer in 1992; and his brother, Allen Ray Morris, of Boise, ID in 1994. He is survived by his 2 children, William E. Morris (Debbie) of Sterling/Waterford, VA, and Sandra M. Hunter (Cary) of Waterford, VA; and three grandchildren. He is also survived his bother John Morris of Ormon Beach, FL; his sister Judy Hunter of New Albany, IN; and his sister-in-law, GeorgeAnn Morris of Boise, ID. Service will be held in Culver, IN on Saturday, January 19. Arrangements by BONINE FUNERAL HOME. Donations in lieu of flowers to American Cancer Society. We loved and will miss his strength, courage, and determination.
