My condolences to all of the family. Though I had not seen Lynette or the Briggs family in 35 to 40 years since my family moved out of North Englewood, anyone who ever lived in that neighborhood still feels some kind of connection with each other. May God give you peace during this time of grieving.

Lynette will be missed! She has kept us in STITCHES for A Million Years! We went through our early education together at Beaver Heights Elementary, Mary McLeod Bethune Jr. High and Fairmont Heights Sr. High schools and were also neighbors in the Cheverly - North Englewood community in Prince George's County, Maryland. GOD's Peace be with her family.

Dear Cousin,
You fought as along as you could with grace and a smile on your face never givining up. You still had your sense of humor and wit about you. You left us toooo early. You had a good heart, but you always had a good ear to listen and was always encouraging, loved family, no matter what. You were always for the underdog and didin't like to see people or family being mistreated. You loved your yard and had a competion between daddy (Uncle Grant) in making sure you had that yard together before he had his and who's yard looked better, always giving advice on stuff to get your lawn looking good and what to buy. You and your Aunt Bea had a mother and daughter relationship well she has had a relationship with you all and kinda became your mom since Aunt Judy had passed, she will truely miss your visits and talks. I will miss that laugh and smile and that listening ear that you had and just your spirit. Take you rest now my dear cousin and let your spirit soar in the heavens with your other exstended family Mother , Father, Brothers, Uncles and Aunts, Grandparents for they welcomed you with their arms. RIP my cousin you will never be forgotten and will always be in my heart. Love, Kimmie
