On Sunday, August 28, 2011 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved wife of the late George G. Slocum; mother of John G., James P., Douglas R., David C., Susan J. Thomas, Anne L. Brunk, Barbara A. Stockinger, Nancy E. Kotsiras and the late Gary E. Slocum; sister of Robert C. Leimbach and the late Jane B. Lodge. Also survived by 24 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard, West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service at Faith Presbyterian Church, 17309 Old Baltimore Rd., Olney, MD on Friday, September 2 at 11 a.m. Interment Parklawn Memorial Park.
