MAC MANN Obituary
MAC PRYOR MANN
Born September 16, 1945 to Boyd H. and Kathleen Mann, Mac died on September 24, 2020 in Anaheim, CA. He grew up in Rockville, MD, graduated Richard Montgomery High School (1963) and was drafted in 1966. Mac was stationed in Germany and Walter Reed Army Medical Center until discharge in 1968. He met the love of his life, Donna Danvir of Johnstown, PA in 1965. They married in 1967 and remained so until his death. He graduated from Montgomery College (1970) and the University of Maryland (1972). He began his career in 1972 as a Special Agent for Interstate Commerce Commission (23 years) and its successor, Federal Highway Administration/Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (10 years) until retirement. Mac volunteered for Walnut AYSO as a coach and assistant coach (1985-1996). When his kids left AYSO, he spent seven more years coaching Walnut VIP Team. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Donna, his children - daughter Laura Mann and sons Kevin Mann (Erica) and Brian Mann (Sophie) and his adored grandchildren - Querelle, Ireland, Nico, Henry and Kai. Mac was interred at Riverside National Cemetery on October 14, 2020. Mac requested that no service be held due to COVID pandemic
