ON THursday, January 25, 2007, MAJID KHADDURI, Ph.D, University Distinguished Research Professor Emeritus, the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, resident of Washington, DC. Devoted father of Shirin Ghareeb, daughter and Farid Khadduri, son. Also survived by a brother Khalid Khadduri; and a sister Khairiya Askar; and three grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 27 at 6 p.m., at the Paul Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, 1740 Massachusetts Avenue N.W., Washington, DC. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American University of Beirut (AUB), please indicate "Khadduri Memorial Scholarship Fund", AUB, 3 Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, 8th Floor, New York City, NY 10017.
