Marc Dancy Obituary
MARC E. DANCY, SR.
Five year veteran of the DC Fire Department, assigned to Engine Co. 10, Truck Co. 13. On Sunday, January 23, 2011, Marc transitioned home to be with the Lord. Survived by his wife, Nateka Dancy; children, Marc Jr., Maya and Silky; parents, Rev. Kenneth & Deacon Yvonne Burke and Russell Dancy (Donna); in-laws, Linda Fletcher and Herbert B. Jefferson, III; brother-in-law, Derek Hopkins; a host of aunts, uncles, family and friends. Services will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at East Washington Heights Baptist Church, 2220 Branch Avenue, SE, Washington DC. The viewing will begin at 9 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Rd., Brentwood, MD 20722. Arrangements by J.B. JENKINS FUNERAL HOME, INC.

As I look at our son everyday he looks so much like you, with the facial expressions to the big joker smile that you'll shared. Marc jr. is growing up to be such a wonderful kid.
