Marek Zalewski Obituary
Marek Adam Zalewski
Marek Adam Zalewski, born in Warsaw, Poland in 1949 to Waclaw and Irena, brother to Wojtek (Sherry), passed away on November 9, 2023, after a courageous five and a half year battle with lung cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Ania; their daughter Monika (Jesse); and two grandchildren, Nolan and Mila.
Marek was a man of many interests, he always walked to the beat of his own drum. After attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) he worked at the Voice of America for over 30 years.
