I attended Emerson when she was there and some of my most fondest memories includes her gentle, yet stern spirit, and beautiful smile. I'm so blessed to have crossed paths with her.

I am the mother of a former student at Emerson and Margot Walsh was the epitome of being first a lady and second an intellectual who had the gift of reasoning, listening, care, and consideration for each student at Emerson, even when Jared Leto knelt on the floor and peaked under the door to see the film with music of Pink Floyd. She was a good organizer and kept the school on track. She had a sense of humor she shared with some. Margot Walsh was a woman whom one showed respect to as a matter of course. Margot Walsh, to me and to my daughter was the face of Emerson Prep and Dean Humphrey the embodiment of a respected War Hero, lawyer, advisor, and Headmaster non-pareil. Ms. Walsh is truly missed.

My first job was doing various chores and maintenance around Emerson back in the summerof 1980. Margot was a fixture at Emerson and she will be missed.

I graduated from Emerson in 1977 and remember Margot very well. Margot was always helpful to us as students as well as when we graduated. I am very sorry to hear this sad news.
