Maria-Waid Lechner Obituary
On Saturday, April 16, 2005 of Potomac, MD. Beloved wife of Thomas F. Lechner, CAPT, USN (Ret.). Daughter of the late Waid H. and the late Marie Schleicher McKnight; mother of Thomas McKnight Lechner of Rockville, MD, Waid Veevers Lechner of Silver Spring, MD and Melinda Marie Ramsey of Westerville, OH; grandmother of Thomas C. Lechner, Mary Ellen Conner, Rachel W. Ramsey and Sarah M. Ramsey; great- grandmother of Elizabeth M. Lechner, Mariah P. Lechner and Zachary T. Conner; mother-in-law of Michael S. Ramsey; grandmother-in-law of Mark A. Conner. Mrs. Lechner is also survived by her sister-in-law, Winifred Lechner Copeland of Ormond Beach, FL. Memorial service will be held at Bradley Hills Presbyterian Church, 6601 Bradley Blvd., Bethesda, MD on Friday, April 29, 2005 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Shady Rest Cemetery, Holly Hill, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Foundation for Group Homes, 6010 Executive Blvd., #800, Rockville, MD 20852.
