It was always the best when Andy and Paul would come over to visit on Holidays. Once we heard Sally and Marianne get into their heated discussions about who knows what, we knew we had a couple of extra hours to hang out and get in trouble before you had to head back across the river.
Best times.

One thing I loved most about Andy was his crazy infectious laugh! You could not help but get a big smile on your face when he would burst out in his unique laugh. Andy lit up the room...what a bright light!

In loving memory of my strong, adventurous, sensitive, kind, fun loving, talented, risk taking, excitement seeking, and humble big brother. You mean the world to me and my heart carries great love for you always. You were our family’s excitement finder. Always being the one to provide life’s thrill wherever you could find it. I miss that!

I still can't believe he's gone. Andy was truly one-of-a-kind. Boisterous, outgoing, fearless and frank. He was quick-witted and thoroughly enjoyed playful banter. Kind and big-hearted, he made friends easily but nevertheless, one felt extremely special to be included in that number. A thoughtful brother who looked after his younger sister, even after they'd both grown up. A caring son, who tended to the needs of his elderly parents with his consummate good humor and surprising gentleness. He embraced life with abandon, unabashedly sharing his well-formed opinions, and very often landing a profound and life-changing (for the listener) statement right in the middle of a lively conversation.
You will be missed, Andy -- not just by those who knew you well, but by those whose lives you touched only in passing. Your boundless energy is no longer bound to this earth. The universe is yours, as it always should have been.
