MARK MORRISON Obituary


MARK CRONAN MORRISON  
Mark Cronan Morrison, 63, died of lung cancer on June 15, 2014. Born on November 5, 1950, Mark was an Alexandria native and the youngest of the six Morrison kids. Mark attended Blessed Sacrament Parochial School and Bishop Ireton High School where he was a scrappy, little basketball player. A popular guy, known for his quick wit and sense of humor he leaves behind many lifetime friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Thomas E. Morrison, Sr. and Rita S. Morrison of Alexandria; and survived by his five siblings: Kathy Toman (Steve) of New Milford CT; Patty Kennedy (Cliff) of West Chester, PA; Susan Shuman of Culpeper, VA; Tim Morrison (Nancy) of Arlington, VA and Judy Martin (David) of Richmond, VA. Blessed with a large family, Mark is also survived by Uncle Edward Smith and countless nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church on July 9 at 11 a.m. A toast to Mark will follow at Ramparts.
