Marlene and Bernie were dear friends for many years. We shared so many good times, professionally and socially, not only with Marlene and Bernie but with Jeffrey, Joanne and Carolyn. We shared the joys and challenges of parenting.
Marlene was committed to improving education and educators. This was her calling and she excelled at it.
We will miss our dear friend. We deeply regret we will not be able to attend her service. Susan and Lee Fritschler

I had the pleasure of working with Marlene for five years at the ACE Fellows Program. She taught me and many others leadership skills and important lessons about life. She loved her family and she was dedicated to her work with a special fondness for ACE Fellows. She is missed.
