MARSHALL SNEIDERMAN

Marshall Sneiderman passed away peacefully at his home in Rockville, MD surrounded by family on December 26, 2023 at age 84. Marshall was born in Erie, PA to parents, Harry and Ida Sneiderman. He attended Penn State University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in business. He then joined the U.S. Navy and attended the University of Michigan where he earned an MBA. Marshall's Naval career spanned 21 years of service in the Naval Supply Corps and he achieved the rank of Commander before retiring. Marshall received the Navy Commendation Medal for his service on the USS John Paul Jones during the Vietnam war. His final post was as a professor at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey where he taught Logistics. His post military career included management at Intelsat headquarters and as owner and President of Tech Systems, a logistics contractor supporting the U.S. military and federal government agencies. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Lynne; his children Eliezer (Roni Sara), Gary (Sharon), Hayley, Nancy Blethen (Chris), Craig (Nicole), 15 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; two brothers, Donald and Robert; many wonderful cousins and friends.

Services will be held on Thursday, December 28 at Judean Memorial Gardens in Olney, MD; Chapel service at 1 p.m. and graveside service at 2 p.m. Shiva will be observed at the family home on Thursday at 4 p.m. and on Friday at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association or to the charity of your choice.
