Marvin Kay (Age 89)
On Friday, November 24, 2023, Marvin Stanley Kay, of North Bethesda, Maryland, and Palm Beach Gardens, Florida passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. Loving father of Suzanne (Josh) and Andrea "Obbie" Kay. Cherished grandfather of David, Brian (Hannah) and Aaron Schonfeld (fiancé Allison Kaplan). Brother of Arlene (Harvey z"l) Cherner. Loving uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 28 at 10:30 a.m. at B'nai Israel Congregation, 6301 Montrose Road, Rockville, MD. Interment will follow at the Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park, Clarksburg, MD. Following funeral services the family will be receiving visitors at the home of Suzanne and Josh Schonfeld with Minyan at 7:30 p.m. and Wednesday, from 1 to 4 p.m. with Minyan at 7:30 p.m. Family will also be receiving visitors at the home of Andrea "Obbie" Kay on Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's Disease (michaeljfox.org); and the Jewish National Fund, dedicated to supporting the land and people of Israel (jnf.org) or the charity of your choice.

Marvin and Rozzie were good friends. We met in 1965 when we each moved into the new housing development and remained close for the rest of our lives. We played tennis, cards and golf together plus took vacations together. I still miss them both. Ronny West
